NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC

To wash dishes more sustainably, there are only a few points that should be observed. If you like to clean your dishes in the dishwasher, you should use dishwasher tabs without plastic film. There is also a difference between "normal" tabs and multi-tabs. With multi-tabs, rinse aid and salt are also included in the tab. If you then add a lot of dishwasher salt and rinse aid to the machine, this is unnecessary and too much chemistry, i.e. not sustainable. When it comes to dishwashing detergent, simply buy a nice bottle and then refill it yourself at home. That's how to do the dishes more sustainably.

You don't need much to make your own washing-up liquid; just the everdrop Washing-up liquid Powder, our reusable bottle, and tap water. 

It's just so simple:

1. Fill the bottle, up to the mark, with lukewarm tap water

2. Add the powder

3. Shake vigorously

4. Wait approx. 20 minutes

5. Time to do the dishes!

There is no general answer to which type is better. Dishwasher powder has the advantage that you can adjust the amount to your individual needs; to the amount of dishes in the dishwasher and the degree of soiling. Tablets, on the other hand, are the more convenient option if you don't want to bother with dosing. Regardless of whether you use tablets or powder, both should be more environmentally friendly and avoid single-use plastic.
